Sir, I had retire in 2012 from Indian Navy. I qualified UGC NET in History. Is there any quota for ex-servicemen for the post of Assistant Professor job in government colleges? Or, any other guidelines for me which supports me to glorify my second innings?

Dear Sir, depends on the state to which you belong. For example the states of Himachal Pradesh Haryana Rajasthan Karnataka and Punjab have reservation for ex servicemen in class A gazetted jobs. Rest all states do not consider the hard work and sacrifice made by ex-servicemen for the sake of the motherland. Sad but true.
