Is there any reservation for OBC caste in NDA examination?

I belong to OBC caste category but now I don't have my cast certificate. So, can I apply for NDA examination? Is there any reservation and relaxation for OBC caste category candidates?

NDA is conducted by UPSC. It is conducted in two stages.

The eligibility to appear in the examination is that candidate must have passed or pursuing in 12th from a recognised board.

The age limit is 16.5-19.5 years. Only male candidates are eligible to appear in the examination.

There is no relaxation for OBC in age limit, fee exemption or cut off marks for selection.

As far as you are concerned about the availability of caste reservation for OBC (Other Backward Classes ) category candidates for entry to NDA (National Defense Academy) similar to other government services then there is no such provision in case of NDA for any category candidates.

For more FAQs associated with NDA, you can refer to the link www.upsc.gov.in.
