Hi, I have completed M.Tech in Mechanical Engineering so now am I eligible to do PhD? And, is there any Scholarships available funded by either private or government organization for PhD? If yes, then please provide details of all such Scholarships with amount details, application procedure and important dates.

There are various kind of institute fellowship in the respective institute where you want to apply. The GATE exam score may also help you to get fellowship for PhD.

After Post graduation you can go for PhD .UGC NET is an exapmination you can attend after your post graduation to get funded by UGC for your higher studies.After cracking JRF you will be funded by UGC for doing your research.Exams are conducted twice a year :june and december.
