Is there any scope for getting admission in NIT calicut?if yes which branch?

Yes, to get the admission in the NIT you have to qualify in the Jee E examination. The JEE examination is conducted by the CBSE ne very year. The eligibility to apply for the examination is :-
* Candidate must be pursuing or passed the 10+2 board examination from a recognised board.
* Candidate must have PCM as main subject in the board examination.

The examination is conducted in two stages as Mains and Advance examination and only those candidate who qualify in the Mains are eligible for the NIT if it's rank is maximum upto 40thousand.

The rank card is prepared on the basis of Mains score and board aggregate ( 40% board+60% Mains ).

So you have to work hard with great determination to qualify as every year about 15lakh candidate apply for it. For more information visit at www.cbse.nic.in. There is maximum of three attempts to apply for the entrance.
