Master of Computer Application is a master’s degree in computers. The course concentrates at the development of computer applications for updating the computer program languages. The course also focuses in creating improved tools for advanced applications. It is a three year course which is further divided into six different semesters.

Candidates who wish to study MCA from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Calicut should meet certain criteria. Apart from having an under graduate degree, they should clear an entrance exam. The exam is conducted in order to admit new students for the course. Admission to the course is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam. The candidates who clear the test with a high score get admitted. The application form for the course will be available on the official website of the university, which can be directly downloaded by the candidates. Fee structure of MCA in NIT, Calicut

The institute doesn’t charge high fees from the candidates. The fee structure is very moderate and affordable. The basic tuition fee is about Rs. 17.000/- per semester. Along with the tuition fee the candidates need to pay some other small charges like examination fee, computer fee, library fee, registration and enrolment fee, medical and insurance fee, etc. Initially the candidates must pay a caution deposit of Rs.2000/-, which is refundable. Thus the total fees paid by the candidate will come under Rs.25, 000/- only. Students who wish to stay in college hostel must pay a hostel fee.
