Hi, I have completed my B.Sc General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) long back and have been working as a Nurse in private hospital. I wish to join Government Hospitals now. Am I eligible? Is there any upper age limitation?

The age limitation for nursing post in government hospitals is 21 to 40 years.

Upper age relaxation will be provided to all the reserved category candidates including ex-serviceman as per the norms to nurse post in PSC. Age will be calculated as per their reference date.

Upper age limit for nursing candidate for government jobs varies from 30years to 70years.

Most of the government organization or sector demands experience where you will be lucky and get chance .

-Yes you can appear for AIIMS ,where you will be serving as Nursing Officer.
-The candidates applying for the Nursing Officer post will need to pay an examination fee of ₹ 1000 and for SC, ST, PWD, EWS, Female candidates, this fee is reduced to ₹ 800 (via online mode)
