A staff nurse is a unique job in which you have to provide a professional nursing care to their patients and provides protections under the guidance of their physician.

The minimum age to be a staff nurse is 18 years and the maximum age is 37 years both for government and private organization. To apply for this job, candidate must have completed bachelors of Science in nursing or candidate must have completed their senior secondary exam with three year a grade in diploma in nursing on their respective institutions. Different organization also requires that the candidate must have completed their mid-wifery to apply for this position and also have registered with their state nursing council or nursing council of India.

Now the selection procedure of the candidate in government organization. For the position of the staff nurse in government organization will be based on your performances which will be conducted by the selection committee. If the number of candidate is more there will be a written test as their first step towards the job. Those who will perform well in the written test they will be called for their personal interviews.

The minimum age limit for Staff Nurses at govermential hospital is 18 years & maximum age limit is 35 years .
For reserved quota the age limit is exceeded maximum limit +5 years.

The Age limitation for Nursing staff in govrenment Hospitals is 18 - 35 years .There are some age relaxation for OBC candidates for 3 years from the age limit & 5 years for Sc/ST Candidates.

Age Limit:
Lower Limit = 21 years,

Upper Limit = 40 years.

Upper age relaxation will be provided to all the reserved category candidates including ex-serviceman as per the norms of Staff Nurse in PSC.Age will be calculated as per their reference date.
