Is there any upper age restriction for pursuing PhD?

Sir, I am 35 years old and I have completed M.Com. So, now am I eligible to do PhD? Is there any upper age restriction for female candidates for doing PhD from recognized universities? And, which subject should I choose for PhD?

There is no such age limit to pursue Ph.D. course from a recognized University/institute. Since, you are of 35 years of age, so it will be ok to pursue Ph.D. course. Some of the graduates are doing their Ph.D. even in their 60s and 70s. Also, for female candidates there is no such restriction or upper age limit for pursuing Ph.D. course.
Since, you have done B.Com. So, you can do Ph.D. in Commerce and Management subject.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
