As per C.B.S.E. rules, the SA1 will be conducted by school from 15/9/2012 to 30/9/2012.So, you should consult to your principal or school staff for the sa1 exam.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has directed all schools affiliated to CBSE to conduct their Summative Assessment-I (SA-I) in the second half of September. Circular number 58/2011 has provided an option to schools to set their own date-sheet for the exam to be conducted for Std IX and X.

The decision to have the same date-sheet was taken with the view to counter the possibility of students from different schools exchanging their question papers. Though schools can have separate question papers for each subject, the chances of students getting an unfair advantage still exist. Sources said that since the date-sheet for all NSSC members will be the same, a single question paper will be chosen.

Why CBSE board has not given the time table at an early stage to avoid any confusion among students.
