IIT-JAM exam is conduct for M.Sc course admission in IIT'S.So prepare for IIT JAM exam if you have bachelor degree in science background.

If your graduation degree marks is above 50% then you are applicable for IIT JAM Exam.

There are no age criteria for IIT JAM Exam.But you are freshers candidate then you are getting some priority .

IIT JAM Eligibility Criteria 2013

• The candidates who qualify in JAM 2013 shall have to fulfill the following eligibility criteria for admissions in IISc Bangalore and IITs.

For IISc, Bangalore.
First class marks ( as declared by the university ) for General / OBC category candidates and at least second class or 50% aggregate marks for SC and ST category candidates in the qualifying degree.

For IITs :

• At least 55% aggregate marks for General / OBC category candidates and at least 50% aggregate marks for SC, ST and PD category candidates in the qualifying degree.
  
• For candidates with letter grades / CGPA ( instead of percentage of marks ), the equivalence in percentage of marks will be decided by the Admitting Institute.
  
• Proof of having passed the qualifying degree with the minimum educational qualification as specified by the admitting institute should be submitted by 30th September, 2012.
• At the time of admission, all admitted candidates will have to submit a physical fitness certificate from a registered medical practitioner in the prescribed form.

Hello friend,

There is no age limit to write JAM exam.But at most 2 times you can write the JAM exam.If you hold a bachelor degree with minimum of 60%(For SC/ST students it is 55%) marks you can write JAM exam at any age.

I have 4yr gap after 12the.and then i complete my bsc degree with math honours.now can I sit in jam exam.

sir i have completed Bsc in chemistry honours but i want to do further Bsc with physics honours because i am interested in research with physics.Sir please suggest me how can i do further bsc with physics honours.
