You can apply for Sub Inspector post in AP only after you complete your graduation. Minimum age limit so as to apply for this post is 20 years. Higher age limit will be 27 years. Age relaxation is given for reserved categories. You can appear for PSC exam as part of selection process. If you clear written exam, you will have to attend physical test and personal interview.

Age and Qualifications for Subinspector of police in A.P. : -

Qaulificaiton : -

Any degree from a Recogised university
The applicant should have secured a minimum of 50% in Theiry degree , if the applicant is from General category
The applicant should have securfed a minimum of 45% in their Degree , if the applicant is from either SC or St category


Age : -

The Applicant's age should be between 21-25 years only , if the applicant is belong to General or OC Category
The applicant's age should be between 21-28 years only if the applicant is belong to OBC category
The applicant's age should be between 21-30 years only , if the applicant is belong to SC OR ST Category


Most importantly , the applicant must be a citizen of india

The selection process of Sub inspector of police conducted by public service commission.In these minimum graduates are allowed.

Eligibility for SI exam:
You should have Indian citizenship.

Age Limit-
You age should be between 20 to 25 years on the day of examination.

Age Relaxation-
There is an age relaxation of -
3 years for OBC reserved category candidates.
5 years for SC/ST reserved category candidates.
5 years for candidates who have achieved distinction in sports.

Education Qualification-
You should have a bachelors degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
There is no percentage cut-off as such.

Physical Standards-
minimum height needed-170cms
chest size should be 81cms before expansion and minimum 85cms after full expansion.

Before answering to your question , i would like to give you the eligibility criteria first that you must have :-

Educational Qualification :- Must be a graduate in any discipline from recognized college/universities.

Age Limit :- must be within 25 years of age , if you belong to General Category.

However relaxation are being provided for SC/ST/OBCS category that is age must be within 30 years of age .


Physical fitness is must in all the categories ...
