Is there any maximum age limit for female candidates for the post of Teacher in Central Government Schools? Further, is there also age relaxation for any group of caste?

CTET is the examination conducted to recruit teachers at central level for the class I to V and VI to VIII. No upper age limit for CTET. For reserved categories, 5% relaxation will be given in minimum qualifying marks.

Eligibility

For Class I to V
- You must have passed senior secondary/graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing final year of 2 year diploma in elementary education/4 year bachelor in elementary education from a recognized university.

For Class VI to VIII
You must have passed graduation with at least 50% marks and passed or appearing final year of 2 year diploma in elementary education/2 year B.Ed course.
OR
You must have passed senior secondary with at least 50% and passed or appearing final year of 4 year B.A/B.Sc.Ed or B.A.Ed/B.Sc.Ed from a recognized university.

There is no age limit to appear for CTET examination. It is conducted by CBSE.

So, if you have the requited qualification then you are eligible to appear in the examination as per the educational qualification then you are eligible to appear for the examination.
