My son is born on 01-09-2009. Is he eligible for joining 5th class in schools affiliated for CBSE board of education? I am waiting for response.

Any particular age is not fixed to get admission.
But the average age should be 11 years.
But one can get admission between 10 years to 13 years.
He is eligible to get admission as any age is not fixed but it depends on school.

According to the norms of board examination student are eligible for the board exam are minimum age is 14 years of age.
As per the norms your son is eligible to get admission in 5th class . Now his age is perfect to get admission.
Student can get admission in 5th class between 09-11 years of age.
