Being astronaut is not an easy job. You must have good flight experience. The minimum education qualification required for astronaut is a bachelor's degree in engineering or biological science or physical science or mathematics from any well affiliated university.

Also you must have to meet medical fitness as per standard defined by various space agencies.

Being an astronaut, you will have to perform various science experiments in space, continue flight for about 6 months to study various parameters in space, go on various missions like shuttle mission etc.

You have to apply for bachelor's degree in above mentioned stream after completion of 12th class with science stream.
Here are some good college for you:

IIT Bombay,
IIT Delhi,
IIT's or NIT's,
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
