Hi, what is Audit all about? Can anybody please brief me about Audit and Audit process? And, which course should I study to become an Auditor? What are the duties and responsibilities of Auditor? How much a fresher can earn as an Auditor?

Audit is an independent Examination of financial information of an entity, whether profit oriented or not, irrespective of its size & legal form when such examination is conducted with a view to express opinion thereon. It means checking the accuracy of books of accounts of company.
Audit process is a plan made by an auditor while performing audit.
Chartered Accountants are the Auditor of the Company.
You may pursue Chartered Accountancy Course / Cost Accountancy Course to become a Auditor.

Duties & responsibilities of Auditor:-
1.To check accuracy of books of accounts of the company
2.Verify Assets & liabilities of the company
3.It ensures that companies comply with tax norms
4.All laws & acts has been complied by the company,etc.

There is no specific fee of the Auditor. Fees of the Auditor depends upon his work & experience.
