I would like to know that after getting a BTech Biotech degree what can i do further if not a job, should i go ahead for MTech or MBA..what do the companies especially in Canada prefer to see as qualifications in their applicant?? What is more beneficial to my future?? Pls reply..

Hi friend..
After Btech in biotech you can go for Mtech or MBA...Thats upto you..
well both are giving good job oppurtunities..If you are interested in management field then you must go for MBA which will add more value to your resume..After MBA-Biotech, you can join Bio-pharma companies, Pharma companies, Biotech companies, Foods companies, Bioinformatics sector, Agri-companies, etc....You can also go for Mtech and then your further studies
and then you can join the research field..or a job in any company because this is one of the developing technology..they both are beneficial to your future..but your interest,hardwork and knowledge make your subject more beneficial in the future...Choose carefully..Whatever your subject doesnt matter..You must have the knowledge on your subject what you choose..
Any company will select you by seeing the knowledge on your subject..

If you are interested in going abroad for your career, then a double-degree would be attractive.

Even in India also, if you possess M.Tech Degree it invites you to better salary than B.Tech alone.

If you prefer to be employed with lucrative salary and higher designation in Pharma companies, industries, or anywhere then I would advice you to go for M.Tech atleast after Degree.

if you are getting an offer in good company then you shoukld definately go for it,
but if you are interested in higher studies then go for management studies related to biotechnology courses,
dont go for just any mba,

After completing in B.tech in biotech, if your interested in higher studies you can go for M.tech in biotech otherwise you can go for job as a trainee in any life science company...now opportunities are there go and apply....ok

Biotechnology is an new field of engineering and jobs are growing in this field.
There are number of companies which deals in field like :

1.medicine,
2.chemical,
3.Pharmacogenomics
4.Pharmaceutical products
5.Genetic testing
6.Gene therapy
7.Human Genome Project
8.Cloning
9.Agriculture

You can also move ahead in such field by specilization in such field.

I think u shud go 4 mba 4m good institution. M tech in Biotech is total waste. even I hv completed engg in biotech. There more oportunutis 4 mba students dan m tech stnds in market. M tech will not assure u good job,bt if u do mba 4m reputed institution, u ll definately get placed,dat too wid high packages. so think abt it
