I am a BSc chemistry honours student. I'd like to know the options after completing graduation and what would be the best option in the shortest span. I'd been thinking of doing my PhD in the shortest time and then pursue a career in the industry. I'm not a great believer of a management degree supplementing an academic career. Thanks.

The career options after graduation in chemistry is limited.But after a post graduation will provide vast opportunities.Chemistry students can find employment in academics,research centres,government,pharmaceutical industry,ceramics or metallurgy etc..You can also work as chemical analyst,technical writer or a technician. St Stephen's, Delhi, St Xavier's, Calcutta, MT Carmel, Bangalore, (TIE) Hindu, Delhi are some of the top colleges offering graduation and post graduation courses in chemistry.

after completing graduation , if u have interest to continue ur study then it

will be better to go for master degree, after that u can do Phd. for doing

research.

if u have interest in doing a job then u first complete ur master degree then

go for a job, bcz after graduation u can't get a good job..

there is no huge scope for getting a job after Phd.

you should go for the p.g. degree in chemistry from m.i.c.a pharmaceutical and many other branch .they help you lot to placed in the industry so by doing m.sc. you can easily go through in the industry then you taking any teacher as a guide you apply for p.hd and also working

you have many option you can get job in oil company and medicine. but i think you should do MSc.
than you will get better job.

After graduation the career options are very few. But if you pursue and complete Masters in the same field then there are vast option. You can enter into different fields like academics, research, pharmacy and many more. Try to get higher education as to get more high profile jobs.

what is the minimum percentage for getting admission in msc in same field

which book is best for prepratiom for jam chemistry

you should go for further studies like MBA,M.Sc and MCA etc.
but if you want to do work then i think teaching would be the best job for you at this stage.
I think you should do both the things together.
You can also complete your master Degree and also can ear money by teaching.

There is very limited carrier option after completion of B.Sc. with Chemistry Honors. You should go for Master degree course in Chemistry and can chose education and research line as your carrier.

Otherwise you can apply for job in Govt. or Private sector such as Biotech Industry, Chemical Industry, Paper Industry, Pharma Industry etc. which requires chemistry graduate.

Or else you can go for job by appearing in exam like CDS,Civil Service Exam,Railway Dept., Bank P.O. etc.

i want to do IAS...how can i do it aftre bsc?

Hello friend,
As you are pursuing Aeronautical Engineering you have vast scope for getting jobs into the space organizations like ISRO, BARC or NASA.
If you can continue your study after B.Tech and do Phd in Aeronautics and Aerodynamics then you have sure chance to get into the NASA.
this is the special branch of Engineering where a candidate can get more and more option.
So don't worry about the jobs you have sure a bright future.

your brother should prepare for ILTS and try to fly to other country....

or else if you want to stay here only then...you must go to Bangalore or Mumbai....

after B.E in this field.... you have to fields to go on:

> I.F.S
> INDIAN ARMY
> INDIAN AIR FORCE
> INDIA NAVY
> BANK P.O
> INDIAN RAILWAYS

If you want to go for higher study then you can do other course like:-
