Hi, could anybody please confirm whether TOEFL or IELTS is required for studying colleges in USA? And, what is the charges of TOEFL and IELTS? When and how can I apply for either TOEFL or IELTS?

The registration cost for the TOEFL iBT varies from country to country, and sometimes even from testing center to testing center. The test fee can be anywhere from 160-250 USD, but in most places it's around $200.

Unfortunately, each test center sets its own fee, so there is no one single answer to how much the IELTS costs. However, most IELTS testing centers now charge around $225 to sit for the exam.
