How much score is eligible or needed to take admission in any of the IIT for M.Sc. through GATE Life Science 2018? Can someone please reply me with the official information on this? It will be really helpful if you can get back to me soon. Thanks!

To get entry to IITs, firstly you will have to qualify JEE Main exam that is commenced by CBSE every year.

After qualifying JEE Main, you can appear for JEE Advanced Exam.

For JEE Advanced Exam of 2017,

• 2.20 lakh candidates were only eligible while 1.72 lakh candidates registered for the exam.
• 1.59 lakh candidates appeared for the exam and finally, 50,455 candidates were qualified.

Qualifying marks for JEE Advanced was 128 marks. And minium marks required for each subject was 12 marks.
Each category has its own respective cutoffs.
