RAS stands for the Rajasthan Administrative Services. The entrance exam for this state civil services is conducted by the Rajasthan Public Service Commission.

Educational Qualification:

Applicant must have done bachelor's degree from a recognized university. Final year candidates can also apply for the exam.

Age criteria:

The age limit is 21-35 years on 01/01/2015. Relaxation in upper age limit applicable to relaxed categories.

The mode of selection of candidates is through different stages:

>>Preliminary examination

>>Main Final exam

>>Personality test.

Recently RPSC published notification for 2015 recruitment exam for 233 vacancies under State Civil Services and 490 vacancies under Subordinate Services. There are 49 posts for the RAS this year.

Candidates who fulfill the eligibility criteria can apply for the exam at the official website from 24/06/2015 to 31/07/2015.

The preliminary exam will be conducted in the month of August.
