UP CPMT Exam Details :

Important Dates of UP CPMT 2013 :

Last date for submission of completed form : 12.05.2013

Examination date of UPCPMT : 03.06.2013

1st Counseling for the exam : before 25.07.2013

2nd counseling for the exam : 28.08.2013

Eligibility :

Candidates must have passed 10+2 in science stream with physics , chemistry & biology & English as one of the subjects or other equivalent exam recognized university

ABOUT UP-CPMT EXAM

UP-CPMT 2013 exam is organized by the King George’s Medical University, Lucknow which was formerly known as Chhatrapati Shahuji Maharaj Medical University for admission in first year of various undergraduate dental and medical courses in the colleges in UP.

UPCPMT 2013 Eligibility Criteria:

* Candidate must have passed 10+2 Class XII exam with the following subject : Biology, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and another elective subject along with English with 50% at least.

UPCPMT 2013 Reservation of Seats:

The Vertical UPCPMT 2013 Reservation of Seats for different categories is as follows:

Scheduled Castes: 21%
Scheduled Tribes: 2%
OBC: 27%

UP-CPMT 2013 Application Form Date :

> > The UP-CPMT 2013 Application Form will be made available in the third week of April, 2013 along with the information brochure in the Allahabad Bank designated branches after a cash payment of examination fee.

> > The UP-CPMT 2013 Application Form fee for the General and OBC candidates will be different than that for the candidates of ST and SC categories and will include the Counselling and Bank Charges.

EXAM DATE 2013:

> > The exam notifications of UPCPMT 2013 have not been released yet.

UPCPMT 2013 Exam Pattern:

The exam will have four sections:

• Chemistry
• Physics
• Zoology
• Botany

* Every section will have 50 questions and every question will be of 1 mark making the maximum number of marks in the exam to be 200.

* The exam will have objective type questions and there will be no negative marking in the exam.

* The exam duration is 3 hours.

The candidate should be complete 12th standard with atleast 60%of marks from a recognised board with the following subjects,

Biology,

Physics,

Chemistry,

English.

12th standard exams persuing candidates are also eligible.

You should be an indian origin.

this up cpmt and others were to be collaborated with neet and every exams were to be held with NEET 2013 but now why these have to done in previous format. Please explain it and what will be syllabus of this . Because as per NEET syllabus was based on NCERT then now syllabus will be base on up board syllabus or not. One another question is that please tell me about increasing of medical seats in UPCPMT ?

when will the forms b sold?? i heard it'l b sold around April 19th...is it true??
also,why is UPCPMT being held separately?? is this going to be the format for evry other state?? is each state goin to hold their exams now?? what is the whole point of NEET then?? isn't it supposed to be jus one national entrance??

UP CPMT Exam is conducted by Directorate of General Medical Education and Training,Uttar Pradesh in order to take Admission in various Medical courses.
These Courses are :-
~Bachelor of Dental surgery.
~Bachelor of medicine and surgery.
~Bachelor of Homeopathic medicine and surgery.
~Bachelor of unani medicine and surgery.

Eligibility for UP CPMT

• Passed out in 10+2 with science stream from recognized board/university.
• Subject combination in science should be Physics,Chemistry and Biology.
• Your minimum age should be 17 years and not above 31 years.

Exam Patten for UP CPMT

• Physics - 50 Marks.
• Chemistry - 50 Marks.
• Biology(Botany + Zoology) - 100 Marks.

~Total duration of this exam will be 3 hours.
