HPU 2011 B.Pharma
Himachal Pradesh University conducts an entrance test for undergraduate pharmacy course (B.Pharma) for admission to pharmacy colleges in the state of Himachal Pradesh. HP CPMT is conducted by Himachal Pradesh University for admission in both private and Government institutes of Himachal Pradesh. A large number of students appear for the entrance exam to get admission.
Through the entrance test candidates can get admission in the B.Pharma course of Government B. Pharmacy College, Rohroo and Private un-aided B. Pharmacy colleges. There is 85% reservation for the candidates belonging to the state of Himachal Pradesh while 15% seats are open to all India candidates. This is one of the reputed Universities in India. To take the admission in this university is a tough task for the candidates. Every year the University organizes an entrance exam for the admission in the respective courses.
The candidates have to send the application forms with all the necessary documents as per the University rule within the announced date of receiving. The university invites the eligible applicants for the entrance test which it organize at the different centers in India. The question paper consists of Objective type questions. Each question has four alternative answers, from these they have to choose one for the Wright answer. The Question paper consists of questions from Physics, Chemistry and Maths.
Since this is an all India level exam, candidates from every corners of India take part in this exam. To crack this exam is a tough task for everyone. The candidates needs of deep knowledge and strong grip on each subject so that they can secure excellent marks in the exam. After the test the university announces the result and invites them for the counseling. Through the counseling the candidates choose the colleges. The students who secured highest marks take admission in the government colleges.
Eligibility criteria:
A candidate should have passed 10+2 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and one of the following subjects: Mathematics/ Biology/ Bio-Technology / Computer Science. Those who are appearing for class 12th exams in 2011 can also apply. Also a candidate should be under 25 years of age as on 1st October, 2011.
Availability of Application forms:
The forms for HP CPMT are expected to be available by April from Himachal Pradesh University Counter. The form can also be obtained by post from HP UNIVERSITY by sending a Demand Draft along with the request for form.
Important Dates (Tentative):
Date of Entrance Examination: July 1st week, 2011
Availability of Application Forms: May 3rd week-June 2nd Week, 2011
Last Date for receipt of completed application forms: June 2nd Week, 2011
