Iam just asking u that what should i adopt in 11th if i want to become a pilot

You need to first decide whether you would like to join the IAF as a pilot or join as a commercial pilot. You will can join this stream after your 12th standard. But for that you need to have pursued Physics and Chemistry and also maths during 12th standard. Also 50% marks is a must in these subjects. Start preparing for the entrance exams right away as you are eligible to apply during your 12th standard.

Well for becoming pilot you have to trace your path like aiming at Engineering.

In lay man terms you have to opt for 'Pure Science' in your +2 for exploring your career as a Pilot.

Pure Science: this contains subject combination of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics popularly known as PCM + further 2 - 3 subject out of which one should be language etc. that doesn't matters. The thing makes it 'Pure Science' is Mathematics.

Why Pure Science?

Minimum eligibility criteria for getting Commercial Pilot Licence (CPL) which is mandatory for becoming Pilot is such that candidate must be12th pass with at least 60% aggregate and must also have studied Mathematics and Physics, means Pure science students.

Even student of Impure Science stream (PCB) can opt for it if he/she has studied and passed in Mathematics too, no matter even if Maths was his/her optional subject. These days best of 5 or Best of 4 are taken into consideration. So no issue. Infact many MBBS Doctors have becom Pilot.

Brief discription

Becoming Pilot is niether an easy nor cost effective. Its a highly challenging and very competetive field, where you will find proffessionals from vast scanerios mostly of them either engineers or with higher degrees.

And the second barrier that becomes the hinderage in the way is Medical Fitness. Candidates are tested for fitness level to that of Airforce. Candidates are tested at Air force Central Medical Established (AFCME), New Delhi or Institute of Aviation Medicine (IAM), Banglore are the Final Authorities for Medical Fitness (As per Ministry of Civil Aviation). Places where Defence officer are also teste.

Advice

Apart from scoring good in studies, take care of your fitness also. Maintain proper hieght, weight etc.

Money Matter

Becoming Pilot is very expensive course fees can be anything between 17 - 30 lacs.

physics and computer science with high Trignometry

should i take any coaching for IIT or AIEEE or any competitive exams in 11th and 12th along with PCM for pilot training? plz rply!

To become a pilot, aspirants need to join Air flying schools after completion of 10+2, they should pass the 10+2 exam with physic, chemistry, math. Minimum marks should be 50%.So, you have to complete 10+2 to appear for any pilot training ....

They need to clear the entrance test exam of the flying schools in India, they also need to clear the physical fitness (Which is tough one). Only totally fit person can get opportunity to get admission in flying schools.

Don’t confuse with the job of pilot of Indian air Force. IAF pilot is selected through NDA exam, training is free!!!!!
But if opt for private training it will be very costly....

you need to opt physics, chemistry and maths in your 11th to become pilot in future.

you also need to work out properly as pilot course is not so easy.You need to be extremely good in studies

you also need to maintain your physical strength in terms of height,fitness ,weight etc.

so start working from today onwards

Inorder to become a pilot you must have science stream(PCM) in your 11th and 12th.

The basic step is done then you can fight for NDA and upon clearing this you can become a pilot.

Clearing NDA is not an easy job you need to prepapre for it from now onwards
NDA is organised by UPSC.

For becoming a pilot you must do aeronautical engineering. For doing

aeronautical engineering you must have taken Science group in 12thstd.

So I suggest you to take science group in 11th which contains the following

subjects.

Physics

Chemistry

Maths

Computer Science.

For becoming Pilot you must pass 12th with an aggregate percentage of 50% with science stream that is Physics, Chemistry and mathematics.
After 12th you can appear for the flying school's entrance exam. If you clear the entrance exam then you are eligible for taking training in flying schools.
After completion of taring you will get job in Indian Air Force as a pilot.

THE MINIMUM QUALIFICATION TO BE AN AIRPLANE PILOT?
The basic educational qualification to become an airline pilot is to clear 10+2 (senior secondary school) with a pass in Physics and Maths. The next step is to get a commercial pilot's license, which typically takes 1-2 years of training. After getting a commercial pilot's license, a job with an airline begins as a trainee co-pilot and after a transition training of 6 to 8 months, one starts flying on line as a co-pilot.

Note: You should be strong enough in PHYSICS and MATHS.

You should be well focused on Maths and Physics in your 10+2(Senior Secondary School). Self-discipline is a vital ingredient to become a successful airline pilot. It is essential for one to be fit with no congenital disorders that may interfere flying duties. It is quite infrequent for on to fail a medicial examination. To become a pilot whether in Indian Airforce or a commercial, you need to take the science stream with the set of physics, chemistry and mathematics in 11 standard.

Only with this stream and subjects you will be eligible to become a pilot.


After picking these subjects you can apply for NDA. It is conducted by upsc after clearing NDA you can become a pilot in Indian Airforce.


To become a commercial pilot you need to get admission in any of the DGCA approved flying schools through out the country.

ELIGIBILITY FOR NDA (PILOT) EXAM

If you want to become a pilot then you must have to choose science stream in class 11th with mathematics because physics, mathematics and chemistry are the three main subjects that are required for NDA examination to get into air force.

After completion of your 12th standard you can apply for NDA through which you will be able to get into Air force as a pilot.

Eligibility for NDA
•-> 12th pass from any recognized board.
•-> Age limit - 16.5 year to 19 year.
•-> Min. 50% in science stream (PCM) for air force.

for become a pilot after 12th , you must have to complete your 12th in PCM group (physics, chemistry,maths) with at least 60%, for being eligible for NDA examination.
this exam is conducted by UPSC (union public service commission) every year for two times.

the age limit for this exam is 16.5-19.there is nothing about any age relaxation for scheduled caste \tribes.

there are total 300 vacancies are available through NDA
(army-195.navy-39,air force-66).

You should take science-maths. After 12th you can take admission in Aeronautical engineering. Thus you can be a pilot. Good Luck...

To become a pilot, maths subject is a must. So take up maths along with any stream you like, Physics, chemistry , economics, computers etc..

After that get a good result in your 10+2.

You would be eligible for applying for aviation wing courses, or join NDA, for the Indian Air Force wing.

A lot of hard work is required.

can we join flying club after doing fsc in physics, chemistry and biology?

I want to become a pilot in my life and i want that one day i stand in front of my parents in the dress of a real pilot. But i break my confidance on thinking that my father is a common man and he is a farmer. He is not anle to spend more and more mpney on me. Now i am in +1 classy stream is non medical and i want to know that what i have to do to become a pilot or an air hostess. I want to do my further studies with your advice.
