1:At first you can go for MD in Microbiology,

2:You can go for Ph.D in Microbiology through the UGC-NET or GATE for the research field.

3:Microbiological researchers of future will have to respond to the new infectious diseases (e.g., AIDS) and re-emergence of old diseases (e.g., tuberculosis)

4:You can join Govt or Private Hospitals or nursing home as a doctor.

If you are well practiced in your field then instead of doing job you can make your own private practice in the related field .you can become a good teacher and provides tuition and earn much better as this subject is in a great demand .The other fields are the same as already discussed by my friends sanjusabu & Bishwajit.

now i m final year m.sc medical microbiology. what is the job oppertunity after this?

I have MSc in medical microbiology and have more than 5 years of experience in different filed such as microbiologist,Tutor in Medical college and now working as Technical officer in KSACS(NACO).My question is how can get an international prosepects with my education qualification and any chance to get in career in Canada.I am also paased CRA(Clinical Research Associate )from Kriger reserch International from Canada through their online course.Please let me know.

All you stupid people wanting to do MD Microbiology after MSc, its only possible if you are a doctor as MD is after MBBS. And pay for MSc s is maximum 5-7k in private hospitals.

MD is only possible after MBBS ie if you are a doctor. And the pay package after MSc is max 5-7k in private hospitals. So please dont go by the glitter of options. The ground reality is quite harsh because of the large number of MSC c being churned out by any and every university.

Hi,
After Medical Microbiology, one common thing you can do is to go for MBA. MBA in Pharmaceuticals or Hospital Management will be best suitable for you. Since you are an M.Sc. I take this as granted that you have 50% and even much more in your graduation. So you become initially eligible for MBA admission test. Next you sit for the common MBA admission tests available like IGNOU OPENMAT/MAT or any other test and score as high as you can to be in the best advantageous position. Together your graduation score, master's score and admission test score will help you get admission in a good MBA University.

Next you can think of doing PhD. in Microbiology. If you choose this genre. I would advice you 2 things. One is to publish few papers in Microbiology to stay in an advantageous position and second to apply for PhD. in foreign universities. This is a subject where foreign universities will give you better education and better options further in your life. Also the papers published to your credit will add some points in your PhD. career.
