What is the eligibility of AIEEE exam?
can i give the AIEEE entrance exam because i have got comp. In physics and got less marks in mathematics..

To be eligible for AIEEE you should have scored minimum 50% marks in 12th.
If you have compartment in some subjects then you should first clear them only after that you will be eligible for the exam. If you got less than 50 marks in Maths., you are eligible to apply for aieee for B.E./B.Tech. admission but you can't apply for B.Arch. admission. visit: www.aieee.nic.in |

eligibility criteria for AIEEE(All India Engg. Entrance Exam) is:- Candidate must pass 12th exam with math and physics compulsry subject. Atleast another one subject Chemistry,computer,biotechnology. Candidates must secure 50% mark in 12th exam or equivalent exam and 40% mark for SC/ST/OBC/PH catagory candidate.. |

Candidates are, however, required to appear in the papers as per Scheme of Examination for AIEEE specified
The minimum academic qualification for admission through AIEEE is a pass in the final examination of 12 (Class XII) or its equivalent referred to as the qualifying examination. Those appearing in 12 (Class XII) final or equivalent examination may also appear in AIEEE for consideration of provisional admission. Those appearing in 12 in 2012 are not eligible to appear in AIEEE 2011 Subject combinations required in the qualifying examination for admission to B.E. / B.Tech. and B. Arch. / B. Planning Courses shall be as under : For B.E / B.Tech the compulsory subjects are Physics and Mathematics and the optional subject can be Chemistry,Bio-Technology,Biology or Computer Science For B. Arch / B.Planning* the compulsory subject is Mathematics with 50% marks in aggregate at10+2 level |

For admission through AIEEE a candidate needs to pass in Class 12th. A candidate can only appear for AIEEE 2011 if he/she has passed/appearing class 12th in 2009, 2010 or 2011. Those who want to appear for BE/BTech entrance should compulsory have Physics and Mathematics in class 12th and at least one of the subjects among Chemistry, Biotechnology, Computer Science or Biology. Those appearing for architecture courses should have Mathematics in class 12th with at least 50% marks aggregate. Besides a candidate’s date of birth should be on or after 1st October, 1986. For SC/PH/ST candidates upper age is relaxed up to five years, i.e., candidates belonging to this category born on or after October 1st, 1981 are eligible to write this test.

All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) Eligibility Criteria:
Students of India who have passed 10+2(Class XII) or an equivalent exam or appearing for the qualifying examination are considered for the provisional admission into the degree course. If you are an aspiring engineer, and you want to appear AIEEE you have to pass your 10+2 with an aggregate of 50 % marks with Physics and mathematics as the compulsory subjects. Students who wish to be architects are required to pass their 10+2 with an aggregate of 50 % marks with Mathematics as a compulsory subject. Chemistry, Computer Science, Bio-Technology or Biology can be taken as optional subject. So you must pass your 12th examination you must have scored above 50% in maths to be eligible for AIEEE examination. |

AIEEE stands for [SIZE="3"]ALL INDIAN ENGINEERING ENTRANCE EXAMINATION[/SIZE] and it is conducted by CBSE for the admission of candidates in the engineering colleges of the country.
It is conducted every year in the month of April. [SIZE="4"]THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR AIEEE EXAM IS:[/SIZE] EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: You must have done 12th class and Score at least 50% marks for general category and 40% marks for Reserved categories. If you are appearing for the 12th exams then also you are eligible for the Exam. AGE CRITERIA: Your age must be between 17 – 25 years and five years age relaxation for the SC, ST and PH candidates. Aspiring Engineers need to appear in AIEEE exam.
To be eligible for AIEEE exam you need to pass 10+2 with at least 50 per cent marks and Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. If you are applying to become architect that you need to pass 10+2 with 50 per cent marks and Mathematics as compulsory subject. You can take Chemistry, Computer Science, Bio-Technology or Biology as optional subjects. |
