What is the eligibility to become an Agricultural Officer?
Sir, can I become an Agricultural Officer just after completing B.Sc Agriculture program? What might be the starting salary range? And, what can I study further?

Yes, you can certainly become an Agricultural Officer after completing Bachelor of Science(Agriculture).
The minimum eligibility required to become an Agricultural Officer is mentioned below:- 1)You must have attained the age of 21 years but should not be more than 30 years(age relaxation is offered to reserved categories). 2)You must be a graduate in veterinary, fisheries, agriculture or dairy Horticulture etc with minimum 60% marks from a recognized university(55% for candidates of reserved categories). The expected salary of Agricultural Officer starts from Rs.58,000 to Rs. 110,000. However, it varies from state to state . If you want you can pursue Post Graduation and after completing post graduation can do Ph.D to become a professor in Indai's top most educational institutes. |

Hello. the eligibilty criteria for Aricultural field officer are:
Age- 20yrs to 30 yrs Age relaxation: SC/ST- 5yrs OBC- 3yrs PWD- 10 yrs Qualification: Most important is it needs 4yrs graduation degree of any of the following feild: 1. Agriculture. 2.Horticulture. 3.Animal Husbandry. 4.Veterinary Science. 5.Dairy Science. 6.Agri. Engineering. 7.Fishery Science. 8.Pisciculture. 9.Agri Marketing & Cooperation. 10.Co-operation & Banking. 11.Agro-Forestry. 12.Forestry. 13.Agricultural Biotechnology. 14.Food Science. 15.Agriculture Business Management.
