eligibility to get selected,salary alloted for freshers

Coal India Limited is Maharatna Public Sector Undertaking under Ministry of Coal, Government of India. It is the single largest coal producing company in the world and largest coal employer with 3.8 lakh employees.

Eligibility is different for different streams:

1. For engineering disciplines line Mining, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical, Civil Engineering etc.

>>Minimum of 60% marks in B.E/B.Tech/AMIE/B.Sc(Engineering) in your discipline.

2. Systems:

>>Minimum 60% marks in B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science Engineering or Information technology or MCA.

3. Environment:

>>Degree in Environmental Engineering with minimum 60% marks.

4. Geology:

>>M.Sc or M.Tech in geology or applied geology with minimum 60% marks.

5. Financial and Accounts:

>>You must have qualified CA and ICWA.

6. Legal:

>>You must be graduate in law from a recognized university with at least 60% marks.

Salary for freshers:

Selected candidates are placed as Management Trainee in E2 grade with pay scale of Rs 20,600-Rs 46,500 at the initial basic pay of Rs 20,600 during the first year of training.

You will have to serve for the company for at least 60 months.

The minimum qualifying marks for GENERAL (UR), OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) & Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) category candidates are 60%. For SC, ST and Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates, relaxation of 5% is given in the minimum qualifying marks i.e. 55%
