Minimum Academic Qualification required for Joint Entrance Examination conducted by Indian Institutes of Technology:

Candidate willing to write the joint entrance examination must have passed either of the following examination with a minimum of 60% marks. The required percentage of marks in the qualifying examination is relaxed upto 5% for candidates belonging to SC/ST category.

• 10+2 level of examination conducted by a recognized board.
• Final year examination of three year diploma program approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

Age Limit:

• For candidates belonging to General Category: 25 years
• For candidates belonging to SC/ST category: 30 years
