I am doing B.Ed regular course from Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU) and same time I am doing MA English via distance mode of education. Now, am I eligible for PGT or TGT in English?

You are doing both the master degree as well as B.Ed degree same time. So, you are not eligible to appear for PGT after the B.Ed but eligible for TGT course.

Entrance examination is conducted for recruitment as teacher in government schools. So, you will be eligible only after the appearing and qualifying in the examination.

Eligibility to appear for TGT is bachelor degree in any discipline with B.Ed or D.Ed qualification.

For PGT required educational qualification is master degree from a recognised university.

So, you can appear for the TGT after B.Ed but not eligible to appear for PGT as one cannot pursue two degree simultaneously.
