Loco pilot and Assistant Loco pilot posts are recruited by RRB (Railway Recruitment Board).

Qualification :

Candidates must complete Matriculation or equivalent under 10+2 system and Course Completed Act Apprentice or ITI recognized by SCVT/NCVT or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical/Electronics/Automobile Engineering recognized by AICTE or higher qualification.

Age :candidates age should be in between 18 to 30 years.(age relaxation for SC/ST and OBC category as per govt.rules)

Loco pilot exam notification is not announced yet but it will be announced very soon .

For the post of Loco Pilot you have to apply for RRB exams....

RRB stands for Railway Recruitment Board.

Educational Qualification -

Candidates who have certificate in Matriculation with ITI approved by NCVT / SCVT in Electrical Fitter / Electrician / IT / TV & Radio / Mechanical Diesel / Mechanic Moter Vehicle / Maintenance Mechanic / Instrumentation / Computer / Computer Networking / Data Networking / Turner / Mechanist or Diploma in Electronics / Mechanical / Electrical / Automobile Engineering or Inter or 10+2 in Physics and Maths. And there is no any percentage required..

Age Limit -

The minimum age limit is 18 years and maximum age limit is 30 years. Age relaxation is applicable for OBC and SC/ST candidates...
