Exam pattern of uppcs and subjectswhich can be choosen from

UPPCS stands for the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.

If you who want to apply for this examination then, you should have completed at least bachelor degree in any discipline from recognized university.

This exam is conducted in following three stages:

1. Preliminary exam (Objective type),
2. Main Exam (Conventional type) and
3. Personality Test

Prelim Exam:

Preliminary exam consist two papers. Each papers consist maximum 200 marks and 2 hours time duration.

Both the papers shall be objective type of MCQ (Multiple Choice Questions) in which there will be 150 questions in first paper and 100 questions in second paper.

Main Exam:

For main examination, You have to choose optional subjects along with the following compulsory subjects. Candidates have to choose at least 2 optional subjects from the optional subject list of main examination. And each subject will consist two papers.

Compulsory subjects:

• General Studies (Paper-I) = 200 marks
• General Studies (Paper-II) = 200 marks
• General Hindi (150 marks)
• Essay (150 marks)
