What is the exam structure and pattern for Intermediate under NIOS curriculum?
I heard that there is no separate XI and XII standard exam for subjects under NIOS's curriculum. There is only one exam for both classes per subject. Is it true? Please, advise on the proper exam pattern of NIOS Board.

There is no 2 separate exams for 11th and 12th in NIOS Board. Instead of that you have to appear for only one exam which cover both 11th and 12th syllabus. If you pass that exam then you will be qualified with intermediate.
you can choose the subjects you need to study from the table given in the official website of NIOS. You should have to successfully complete a minimum of 5 subjects with atleast one language or atmost two languages. Each subject will be of 100 marks. The time duaration for each exam is 3 hours. You have to acquire 33% marks in aggregate which includes both in theory and practical examination, inorder to pass you intermediate from NIOS. |
