If you are cracking IBPS written examination then you are eligible to apply for 19 public Sectors banks and no need to write the written examination . You can directly apply for Personal Interview in 19 Banks . The written exam score is valid upto one year .

IBPS PO eligibility :-

Candidate should have qualified bachelor's degree with any desire subject of a recognized University or equivalent qualification and There is no percentage bar required for this examination . Final year candidates are not eligible to apply and there is no backlogs at the time of appearing for this examination .

Candidate age should have a minimum 20 years and maximum 30 years at the time of appearing for this examination and Upper age limits is applicable for reserved categories .

IBPS PO notification was already released and the examination will be held on 17/06 /12 . Cost of application is 50/- for reserved categories and 450 for General candidates .

IBPS Clerks :-

Candidates should have a completed 10th with 60% OR 12th with 50% OR graduate degree of a recognized University or equivalent qualification . Candidate age should have a minimum 18 years and maximum 28 years at the time of appearing for this examination and Upper age limits is applicable for reserved categories .

IBPS PO---Candidate for po should be graduate in any stream from recognised university.Final year student of graduation also can apply.

Age of candidate should be 20 to 30 for open category.Relaxation for sc/st/obc/pd.

Eligibility for IBPS PO Exam:-******************




1.A candidate must be graduate from recognized university or post graduate from a recognized university.
2.Age limit minimum 20 years & maximum 30 years
3.Age relaxation-SC/ST up to 5 years & OBC up to 3 years.
Exam pattern of IBPS PO exam:-*****************




1.There will be 5 sections namely:-

REASONING,
APTITUDE,
ENGLISH,
GENERAL AWARENESS &
COMPUTER AWARENESS.

2.In every sections you will get 50 questions of 50 marks but in English total number of questions will be 50 but marks 25.Means total 250 questions of 225 marks.


3.Duration of exam will be 150 minutes.


4.This paper will be objective.


5.You will also get descriptive paper of 25 marks.Total, questions will be 5 & duration of exam 60 minutes.


6.To qualify the exam a general candidate has to score 24 in each subjects & for reserved category 21 in each subjects.


7.There will be negative marking also,for every wrong answer 0.25marks will be deducted.


8.If a candidate score above mentioned minimum marks or above will decalre pass.

* The Acronym " IBPS" stands for Institute of Banking Personnel Selection.

* IBPS conducts a common written examination for 19 public sector banks for clerical and PO posts.

* It provides a rank card to successful students which remains valid for 1 year and with the help of which successful candidates acn directly go for interview test in those banks depending upon their rank.

Eligibility Criteria For IBPS Exam are :

* You must have completed your 12th with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized board if you want to apply for clerical post.

* You must have completed your graduation with a minimum of 50% marks from any recognized college/university if you want to apply for PO post.

* Your age must be in between 18-28 years.

* You must have Indian Citizenship.

In IBPS Examination , 200 objective questions are asked from five different subjects namely quantitative aptitude, reasoning, english,general awareness,computer.

The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) conducts the Common Written Examination (CWE) as a qualifying exam for jobs in 19 public sector banks in India.

The exam is termed as the Common Written Examination. IBPS conducts CWE (Common Written Examination) is accepted by nineteen nationalized banks in India.

Exams for different cadres

IBPS CWE PO/MT for the position of Probationary Officer or Management Trainee. IBPS PO is conducted twice in a year.

IBPS CWE Clerk for Clerical positions. This exam is also conducted twice in a year.

IBPS Specialist Officer. This exam is announced from time to time and covers specialist positions in banks.

IBPS CWE Scorecard
In all these exams, a scorecard is issued to all candidates who secure more than minimum qualifying marks in each test of the examination. The candidates can reappear in the exam if they would like to improve their score. Candidates who appear for the CWE will be able to check their status after the examination.

Scorecards will be issued to candidates who secure minimum qualifying marks and above in each test of the examination. Successful candidates in the CWE who meet the eligibility criteria can apply for jobs in participating banks.

Hi,

The IBPS is institute of banking personnel selection it conducts common written exam on behalf of 20 public sector banks. It conducts exam twice in a year for clerk and PO. The SO exam will be conducted once in a year. The IBPS clerk exam is in the month of December. If you have registered for the exam in last month then you can appear for the exam in next month. Then you can appear and for the online exam. You can refer the books like R S Agarwal or M Laxmikanth or S Chand or Kiran CWE or Upakar's publications then solve previous question papers and practise more. After clearing the exam you will get score card and then you will have common interview by the IBPS only.
