Indian Institute of Technology Joint Entrance Examination (IIT JEE) is conducted every year once to take qualified students for graduation course.

Eligibility criteria for IIT-JEE exam:
Youshould have completed 12th class with any stream from a recognized university.
Appearing 12th class final exam can also eligible for this exam.

Important dates for IIT JEE-2012 exam:
Online process of issuing application form is 31st Oct 2011 to 10 Dec 2011. Offline process of issuing application form is 11th Nov 2011 to 5th Dec 2011. Exam will held on 8th April 2012.

Cost of application form:

Online application form cost:
>>If you are male and belong to OBC/General category,then you should pay Rs.1600/-
>>If you are male and belong to SC/ST/PD category,then you should pay Rs.800/-
>>If you are Female,then you no need to pay any amount.

Offline application form cost:
>>If you are male and belong to OBC/General category,then you should pay Rs.1800/-
>>If you are male and belong to SC/ST/PD category,then you should pay Rs.1000/-
>>If you are Female,then you should pay Rs.200/-

The last date for submission of IIT-JEE 2012 completed application form through on line is 15.12.2011 followed by examination date on 08.04.2012.

Fees structure:-

For General/OBC candidate- Rs.1600.00 through on line and Rs.1800.00 through off line

For SC/ST/PH candidate-Rs.800.00 through on line and Rs.1000.00 through off line

For all female candidate- NIL through on line and Rs.200.00 through off line

All payments will be through chalans of selected bank.

1.The candidate must have passed their 10+2 examinations from a recognized board with physics ,chem and math.

2. You must score 60% above in 12 th.

If you fulfill the above criteria then you are eligible for IIT JEE.

Last Date For IIT JEE Form Submission

The last date for form submission of IIT JEE 2012 is 15th December,2011

The fees for all the female candidates belonging to all categories is Rs 200..

The IIT JEE 2012 is going to be conducted on 8th April,2012..

In order to appear for the IIT JEE 2012..a candidate must fulfill the following minimum eligibility criterion :-

1) The candidate must be within the age limit of 25 years

2) The candidate must be a 12th pass out from a recognized board with 60% aggregate in Physics,Chemistry and Maths

3) The candidates who have passed out 12th in 2011 or are going to appear in 2012 are only eligible for appearing in this exam..

The course for the exam is same as your 11th and 12th so it would be really advisable to go through the NCERT books first..

SOME IMPORTANT DATES FOR I.I.T-J.E.E EXAM:-

Start of Online Application Process :- Monday October 31, 2011
Closing of Online Application Process :- Saturday, December 10, 2011
IIT JEE 2012 Examination Day :- Sunday, April 8, 2012
Declaration of IIT JEE 2012 Results :- Friday, May 18, 2012.


The cost of form:-
For girl is 200 Rs.
For ST/SC male :- 1000 rs.
For open/OBC category male:-1800 Rs
