sir/ madam , i want to know that what are maximam age of up cpmt exam. Belong to obc category. Plz detail it. THANK'S

The Maximum age criteria for UP CPMT Exam depends upon the category you belong.

For General Category : 25 years.

For SC/ST Category : 30 years.

For OBC Category : 28 years.

So , now you can see that if your age is above 17 years and below the maximum age as per your category , then you are eligible for the same.

UP CPMT stands for Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test. The entrance examination is conducted every year for admission into Medical, Dental, Ayurveda, Homeopathy and Unani programs offered by various Institutions across the state at under graduate level.

Eligibility Criteria for UPCPMT 2012

You should have completed 10+2 with Biology, Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry or any other elective subject with English.

You must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with Biology, Chemistry and Physics with a practical test and English as a compulsory subject.

You must have passed pre-professional/pre-medical examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology after passing 10+2.

You must have passed first year of the three years degree course from a recognized university with Physics, Chemistry and Biology including a practical test and you should have passed 10+2 with English.

You must have passed B.Sc. examination with two of the following subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany, Zoology).

UPCPMET Stands for (Uttar Pradesh Combined Pre Medical Test)

This Entrance Examination Conducted for the purpose for get admission for Under graduation course in medical programmes.

The candidate who Qualified in Entrance Examination, you may eligible to choose any one of the Bachelor degree course like, Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery / Bachelor of Dental Surgery/ Bachelor of Unani Medicine and Surgery/ Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery/ Bachelor of Homoeopathic Medicine and Surgery etc....

Only the candidate who satisfy the below criteria are eligible to apply for this Entrance Examination.
Eligibility Criteria

Eligibility Criteria for Required for UPCPMET Entrance Examination :-

Applicant should be Citizen of of Uttar Pradesh are Only eligible to apply for this Entrance Examination.

Applicant who Reached the age of 16 years are eligible to apply for UPCPMT Entrance Examination.

Applicants should have successfully cleared Higher Secondary Examination or It's Equivalent Examination in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as the main subjects from any recognized Institution.

So,If you satisfy the above criteria then you're eligible to apply for this Entrance Examination.

Here is the required criteria for the UP CPMT :

1.Academic qualification:

>>You must have done your 10+2 from a recognized board with physics ,chemistry and biology as your main subjects .

>>If you are appearing for it then also you can give the exam.

After clearing this exam ,you will go for the bachelor's degree in medicine and surgery .

2.Age criteria :

The minimum age limit for the exam is 17 years and the upper age limit for the candidates of different category is as below :

General candidate :25 years

OBC:28years

SC/ST :30 years.

3.Candidates belonging to UP can only apply for the exam.
