i nave completed 29 yr and want to di bams....please tell me the details

BAMS stands for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery. It is a bachelor's degree in study of integrated system of Modern Medicine and Traditional Ayurveda. The duration of this course is five years.

Eligibility criteria:

You must have done 10+2 from a recognized board with subjects like Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory one.

Age limit:

Candidate must complete age of 17 years at the time of admission or on 31st december of year of admission.

There is no upper age limit for this course. So at the age of 29 you are eligible to appear for the BAMS.

Entrance exams conducted for BAMS:

>>All India Premedical test conducted by CBSE.

>>Post Graduate Institute of Medical Institute and Research Entrance exam.

>>All India Institute of Medical Science entrance exam.

After completion of degree, you have wide range of career opportunities in:

1. Medical Transcription.

2. Medical Coding

3. Posting in Pharmaceutical Industries.

4. You can do your own practice.

5. Teaching Institutions.

BAMS course contains modern anatomy,physiology,principles of medicine,social and preventive medicine,pharmacology,toxicology,forensic medicine,botany,ENT,principles of surgery,etc.
