Yes, you can definitely apply for CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) for UG admissions being a Class 12th passed candidate provided your marks in aggregate in Class 12th is at least 45% (or 40% in case you belong to SC/ST and PH category) as the minimum education required for appearing in CLAT UG is Class 12th or equivalent in any discipline with at least 45% marks in aggregate (or 40% marks in aggregate in case of SC/ST and PH category candidates) from a recognised board of education.
Usually, the same examination is held May-June every year and the application form for the same is made available by January-February everyyear. Also, the application can be made only in the online mode by referring to the link www.clat.ac.in. |

Re: What is the minimum educational criteria to be eligible to apply for CLAT?
The minimum educational criteria to be eligible to apply for CLAT is 10+2 or its equivalent. However those who are appearing for their qualifying exam in that year are also eligible to apply for CLAT. But they need to produce evidence of their passing in the qualifying exam at the time of admission.
