The Maharashtra Public Service Commission (MPSC) is used to select applicants for civil service jobs in the Indian state of Maharashtra according to the merits of the applicants and the rules of reservation.
The Changed syllabus of MPSC Civil Services Main Examination is:
General Studies - 1
Contents Marks
a) History 40
b) Geography of India 40
c) Indian Polity 40
d) Human Resource Development 40
e) Human Rights 40
Total 200

General Studies - 2
Contents Marks
a) India and World 40
(India's position in global happenings)
b) Indian Economy, planning, trade and
rural development 40
c) Development of natural resources 40
d) Development of Science & Technology 40
e) Statistical Analysis, Graphs & Diagrams 40
Total 200

MPSC is Maharashtra Public Service Commission.

If you want to join Maharashtra state administrative services then you have to qualify the examination conducted by it.

The qualification for MPSC exam is Graduation in any discipline from a recognised University.

Your age must be between 21 to 33 years if you are General Category candidate.

There is age relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST category and 3 years for OBC Category.

The selection will be based on the following stages of the examination:

-Preliminary Exam

-Mains Exam

-Interview

Those in merit will be selected for the post.
