NET stands for National Eligibility Test.It will be conduct twice time in a year by UGC in the month of June and December.

Those candidate have completed masters degree from recognized university are eligible for NET exam.But your masters degree marks must be above 55% .There is no age criteria for NET exam.

There is no age criteria , but in the case of JRF your maximum age should be below 28 years old.

From this year the all paper are consist of multiple type Question.Each Question contain 2 marks.Paper I and Paper II have not any negative marking.

Syllabus for NET -social work is-

unit 1-evolution of social work profession,social work profession and human rights,principles of social work,social work education and training.

unit 2-meaning of society,social group,social structure,theories of social chenges,rural communities,minority groups.

unit 3-human behavior,human needs,human growth and development,theories of personality.

unit 4-case work and social case work processes,case work relations etc

unit 5-concepts and theories of group work ,members behavior.

unit-6 concept of community organization.

unit 7-social work research,problems and necessary steps.

unit 8-concept of social justice.
