The officers drawing pay in the scale of 6500-10500 may end up getting somewhere around 24000/- as basic pay. depends on govt and recommendations of the IIM.All the officers appointed by the President (Govt of India) in the pay sscale Rs. 8000-13500 (pre-revised) and whose appointment are notified in gazette of India are Group 'A' Gazetted Officer. Similarly, those ooficers who have been appointed on post in the pay scale 0f Rs.6500-12000 (Pre-revised) whose appointments are made by the competent appointing authority and notified in gazette of India are Group 'B' Gazetted officer. There are no Group'C' or Group 'D' Gazetted officers.
Group 'A' and Group 'B' Gazetted Officers were earlier called (prior to 5th Central Pay Commission) as Class-I and Class-II Gazetted officer. |

IS THERE ANY EXEMPTION FOR SIGNING IN ATTENDANCE REGISTER BY A GAZETTED OFFICER.
