Hi,

To become DSP first of all you must be a part of IPS, only after you are selected as IPS officer you'll be able to become DSP after a specific period of time based on the experience you gained over the period of time.

To become IPS officer you must apply for Civil Services Exam conducted by UPSC every year, you haven't mentioned your qualification, before applying for IPS first know the eligibility criteria of IPS.

Academic Qualification :

* You must be a graduate in any of the streams from a recognized university.

Age limits :

--> You must have attained 21 years and not be over 30 years on August 1 of the year of examination.

All the best!
