You have not mentioned in which class you are studying.
You have set your goal to become an IPS officer, which is very good, now you should work hard to achieve your goal.

To become an IPS officer you have to you have to apply for the UPSC civil services exams.
This exams is conducted for selection of posts like IPS, IAS, IFS etc

This exam is conducted in three stages:
Prelims
Mains
Interviews

Educational Qualifications to appear in this exams:Graduation pass in any stream from an recognised University

Age Limit:Minimum 21 years for all candidates
Maximum age is 32 years for General category candidates
3 years age relation for OBC candidates
5 years for SC/ST candidates

Number of attempts:
6 attempts for general candidates
9 attempts for OBC candidates
No restriction for SC/ST candidates

Now, as you can see from the above that you can only apply for the IPS exams after passing your graduation.
So depending on which class you are studying, first goal should be to meet the minimum educational qualifications to appear in the exams
