what is the qualifying mark in jee,
and what is the minimum mark in each subject

JEE stands for Joint Entrance examination and the examination is managed by Central Board of secondary education for the purpose of selection of student for their bachelor of technology from the top government colleges like IIT/IIIT/NIT/ISM etc.

The examination is taken into two steps which are JEE Mains and JEE Advanced.

The qualifications marks for JEE Mains this year was 105 marks for general , 70 for OBC , 50 marks for SC and 44 marks for ST out of 360 marks .

For the year 2015 the JEE Advance is going to be held on 24th May 2015 , so the official qualification marks for same is not available now but you can expect it to be around 120 marks to 130 marks for general based on the cutoffs for previous years examination .

The minimum marks required in each subject is 12 marks out of 120 marks i.e 10% of the total marks .
