Re: What is the required education qualification for UPSC exam?
UPSC conducts many exams and the qualifications are different for every exam .
If you are talking about IAS exam then you should be Graduate in any dsicipline from a recognised university to be eligible for IAS exam. For IAS exam your age should be 21 to 30 years if you are general category but there is age relaxation for other categories like SC/ST OBC etc. There is no percentage criteria for UPSC exams So if you are a graduate with pass marks then also you can apply for it. There are other exams also conducted by UPSC like IES for engineering graduates and IFS which is also for Graduates but graduation should be in selected subjects like botany, zoology, forestry etc. For 10+2 pass also there are exams conducted by UPSC like NDA and SCRA. For SCRA you must have physics and maths in 10+2 to apply and for NDA you can have any subjects if you apply for Indian Army but for Air force and Navy you should have physics and maths. |
