Union Public Service Commission is the regulatory body which conducts many examinations every year. Each of the examinations are conducted for different departments, posts etc. under the central government and depending upon the department one needs to join, the eligibility criteria varies.

UPSC conducts many exams and the qualifications are different for every exam .

If you are talking about IAS exam then you should be Graduate in any dsicipline from a recognised university to be eligible for IAS exam.

For IAS exam your age should be 21 to 30 years if you are general category but there is age relaxation for other categories like SC/ST OBC etc.

There is no percentage criteria for UPSC exams So if you are a graduate with pass marks then also you can apply for it.

There are other exams also conducted by UPSC like IES for engineering graduates and IFS which is also for Graduates but graduation should be in selected subjects like botany, zoology, forestry etc.

For 10+2 pass also there are exams conducted by UPSC like NDA and SCRA.

For SCRA you must have physics and maths in 10+2 to apply and for NDA you can have any subjects if you apply for Indian Army but for Air force and Navy you should have physics and maths.

There are so many exams which are conducted by the UPSC(Union Public Service Commission) like the Civil Service Exams, Engineering Services, SCRA, NDA, CDS, etc..

I think you are talking about the Civil Service Exam here as it is often confused by people as the UPSC Exam..

Candidates appearing for the Civil Services must have the following minimum qualifications :-

>> He/she must have completed bachelor's degree in any stream from a recognized institute..

>> Candidate must be within the age limit of 21-30 years, 3,5 and 10 years of age relaxation for OBC,SC/ST and PWD candidates respectively..

>> The maximum number of attempts allowed for each category is as follows :-
General Category - 4
OBC - 7
SC/ST/PWD - No limit

There are 2 stages in the written exam round :-

Prelims or CSAT :- 2 objective papers on aptitude and general awareness..

Mains :- 9 subjective papers based on your graduation knowledge as well as English..

After that you will have to clear the final interview..

The candidate must hold a degree of any of Universities incorporated by an Act of the Central or State Legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an Act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University Under Section 3 of the University Grants Commission Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification.

Number of attempts

The maximum number of attempts restriction is effective from the examination held in 1984. In case other eligibility conditions apply:

General candidates: four attempts.
Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates: No restriction.
Other Backward Classes: seven attempts.

For apepearing in UPSC exam, you should be a citizen of india, and a graduate in any stream. 10th and 12th and graduation percentage or marks are not required for the eligibility. You just need to be a passes student.
Your age should be in the limit of 21-30 years of age and the number of attempts are 4.
For OBC, the age limit is 21-33 years and number of attemppts are 7
For sc/st candidates, the age limit is 21-35 years of age and the number of attempta are not restricted, you can give as many times as you want.

for appearing in the UPSC exam you need to be 10th and 12th pass out from
any of the recognized board and institution.

minimum percentage of marks required for the qualification is 50% aggregate.
and also you should be the indian citizen. ok ?

you must be between 21 to 30 years of age to be eligible for this.
also you can have only 4 attempts for this.

Union Public Service Commission is the commission which conducts lots of the examination Once in a year and each examination consist of their own eligibility criteria and their own qualities in their examination . This examination use to you get the Jobs in the Central Government .

Intermediate Level Examination ::

National Defence Academy Examination is conducted twice in a year for admission into Army wings , Navy and Air force .

-Age limits should be between 16.5 years and 19 years .
-Mathematics and Physics as compulsory subjects to apply for Air force and Navy .

Special Class Railway Apprentice Examination is conducted Once in a year for admission into Mechanical department in Railways .

1. Exams conducted after 12th class

SCRA

Educational qualification - 10+2 pass out with science stream having Physics and Mathematics at this level.
Your minimum age should be 18 years.

NDA

For Army Wing - 10+2 Pass out with Any Stream.
For Indian Air-force and Navy - 10+2 Pass out with Physics and Mathematics in Science stream.
