What are the roles and responsibilities of a Statistics graduate in IT companies?


I am a B.Sc Statistics student and want to know the jobs available related to Statistics in Indian private companies specially in the IT sector? Do IT sector really recruit Statistics candidates? If yes, then what will be our roles and responsibilities there?
