whats the best choice for an engineering graduate after his completion of his btech education

B.TECH must do M.TECH in higher studies as this is actual route for a engineer student...so i always suggest a b.tech student to go for m.tech and also with his interest.else i think MBA is also a good option ..

and if your interested in jobs..you can write various exam depends upon your interest...

If you wish to go for SOFTWARE or private jobs you can apply for all companies..like

• TCS
• WIPRO
• COGNIGENT
• INFOSYS

and etc for all type of companies...

and there are lots of other opportunity for government jobs

First of all any thing depend on the interest of the candidate,

if you are from IT background then enter into software field

or

if you are from ECE or ME then you can go for M.Tech for futher studies and after that you can get entery into R&D field.

After doing B.Tech there are lots many fields are open the one route you follow is that apply for company jobs if you are good in subjects you will get a better salary..
and the second way is that you continue your studies whether in technical field
or in marketing field.
Technical field refers to M.TECH.
Marketing field refers to MBA.

If you want to do government jobs then there are lots many exams..
like

1. DRDO
2. NIC
3. BHEL

and many more....

IF you want to join army then there is a special chance for u
lots of NAVY vacancies out for engineering graduate..
In ARMY
you should give CDS (combine defense services). This exam appear twice a year.

and another way is that you should give UES(university entry scheme)..

There are many options for both educational and career jobs after completing B.Tech graduation.

If you plan to do higher studies after engineering, there are sample opportunities available in India and abroad.

In India you need to write GATE(Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) to be eligible to do higher studies.If you want to do your M.Tech in premier institutes like IISc or IITs then you need to at least get a rank lower than 500.

In US then you need to write two exams, Graduate Record Exam(GRE) and TOEFL and then you have to apply to the Universities in the US which is compressive process.

If you aim for a job in the private sector after your engineering your best bet will be campus placement. Know the selection process of the companies that may potentially come for campus placement by the sixth semester and start preparing so that you can easily get recruited in the company of your choice.

There are lots of government jobs awaiting you if you want one. for most of those jobs you may have to end writing an exam and then in a few of then an interview after you clearing the written exam.

Most of the State Government and public sector jobs are filled in this way.For various Central Government jobs,it conducts IES(Indian Engineering Service) to recruit candidates to organizations like Indian Defence Service of Engineers etc.

If you go for Banking jobs(clerk and Probationary Officer) then you have to crack the examination which conducts by IBPS and some of banks conducts individual exam as there bank requirements.

If you go for software fields then you have many companies for apply those jobs like some of the companies TCS,Wipro,Infosys etc.

* Firstly you should go for GATE exam, because each PSU demand a valid GATE score as eligibility.
