Re: What should I do after B.Com?
If you want a government job without examination then it is not possible.
You are a commerce graduate and you have wide range of options available for you but everywhere there is competition. Without giving examination you will not get anything nowadays. If you want to do MBA then you have to clear entrance exam with good score to get a good college. In government jobs you have to pass exam with interview to get the job. As a graduate you have following options available for you in government sector: -Bank PO and Clerical entrance exams -IAS exam conducted by UPSC -Various SSC exams like SSC CGLE , SSC FCI etc. -Defence jobs in Army through CDS exam. -AFCAT Ground Duty branch if you want to join Air force. So if you are willing to work hard towards preparation of government job exams then you can try for above jobs. As you are commerce graduate you can apply for many private jobs in accounts department. Hence hard work is required everywhere . So you must not run away from hard work because you will get good things only through hard work. |

Re: What should I do after B.Com?
If you are not interested in entrance exams then going for higher studies could be very difficult for you. There are no options in higher studies without entrance exam. You will have to give entrance exam no matter whether you want to apply for the MBA, MCA or any other course.
However if you have scored 55 percent marks in B.Com and willing to go for Chartered Accountancy, then you can apply for it. Commerce graduates with 55 percent marks are not required to give Common Proficiency Test and therefore they can simply apply for the IPCC Course through direct admission. Once you have completed 9 months of study, appear for the first group exam of IPCC. It should be followed by registering for mandatory articleship and then the second group of IPCC. The final examination can be given once you have completed 30 months of articleship. The total duration of Artlceship is 3 years. If you are not interested at all in further studies then you can go for Banking Exams. Institute of Banking Personnel Services conducts the entrance exam for 19 Public Sector Banks. If you like you can appear for it. Please do not think that you can get good government job without entrance exam. You will have to clear the entrance exam. There are two entrance exams by IBPS for which you can appear. IBPS Clerk IBPS Bank PO IBPS Clerk/PO Eligibility 1. IBPS only allows Indians to appear for exam. 2. Graduation course is required for both the courses. 3. You will need 60 percent marks in graduation for Bank PO. 4. SC/ST will get 5% relaxation. 5. There is no percentage criteria for IBPS Clerk. 6. You must have diploma/degree in Computers. 7. A certificate in Computer Operating SKills or Computer Science subject in 12th or college will also be accepted. 8. Age limit is same for both exams - 20 to 28 years. 9. There is 3 years relaxation for OBC. 10. The relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST. 11. There is 10 years relaxation for PWD. |

Re: What should I do after B.Com?
Soon after the completion of your B.Com course, you will be having good number of career opportunities.
But in order to acquire them, it is must that you have to go through Entrance Exam. You are going to study Post Graduation in the sense you will be receiving Masters degree. For to join such a high level of academic course, some minimum knowledge should be required for the candidates. To test that knowledge only, Entrance Exams are being conducted. So, forget about the thing like getting admission for Post Graduation without having Entrance Exam. The 2 top courses that you can join at Post Graduation level are MBA M.Com Out of these two courses, I suggest you to join MBA course as it is having good demand in present scenario. Some of the Entrance Exams that give admission for MBA course are CAT MAT GMAT SNAP XAT etc. The minimum academic qualification that is required for the candidates to join MBA course is completion of Graduation with any of the stream with minimum 50% of marks. Hope you possess this eligibility criteria. Have good preparation for the Entrance Exam and crack it. The following specializations in MBA course will be best suitable for you like MBA in Finance MBA in Marketing Management MBA in Human Resource Management MBA in Accounting MBA in International Business MBA in Risk Management MBA in Entrepreneurship Management Wish you all the best. |
