If you want to join for the post graduate courses, then only you need to attend the CAT/MAT exam. Since you have completed your graduation you can certainly opt for the MBA. Most of the B-Schools take the score of both CAT /MAT for admission in to the MBA course. If you want to get in to IIMs you need to attend the CAT as they don’t take MAT scores. If you want to join the 2012 course then you can probably apply for the next MAT exam in February 2012.
