What should be the minimum qualification to do PhD in Finance?


Sir, I have completed Master of Social Work (MSW) with 75%. So, now am I eligible to do PhD in Finance? Do I need to under through any entrance? And, which university would be best for PhD Finance?

You need to have a post-graduate degree in finance or a related field with at least 55% marks from a recognized university for Ph.D. in Finance. You can appear for UGC NET or State level SET for admission because most universities consider such scores for admission in research courses.

There are other ways also to get admission which is through University conducted entrance exams. You can appear for such exams if you are not able to clear NET or SET.
