What is the standard eye sight requirement to join Technical department of Air Force?
I wanted to join the Indian Air Force in the Technical Department. For, this I wanted to know about the standard eye sight requirement? Further, is the any relaxation for any group of caste?

Your eyesight should be 6/s . However, Maximum Limits of Refractive Error for Hypermetropia is +3.5 D Sph.
The maximum Limits of Refractive Error for myopia is -3.50 D Sph. The maximum Limits of Refractive Error for Astigmatism: ± 2.50 D Cyl The corrected visual acuity should be 6/9 in each eye. However, wearing of glasses will be compulsory when advised. They do not have any relaxation policy for Physical fitness. |
